Chardonnay is perfectly expressed on our different terroirs of Champagne, it can be mineral, aerial, floral, vertical, fleshy and many other terms that we could give to this emblematic grape variety during our exchanges. My role as a winemaker is to lead my terroir of the south of Sesanais towards its own expression, parcel by parcel and then take on the role of vinifier: allow my parcels expressions a singular note sometimes declined in different ways of wine making. The choices of plots or resulting assemblages are the result of a combination of creation, reason and imagination. The goal is to propose different partitions of chardonnay, in a disruptive way and always with passion. Handed down as a legacy, the know-how has been shared for four generations.
